About the activities Studio 1 Pilates will offer during your beach holiday

Visit Barbados

Barbadians are known for a natural warmth and dignity as hospitable as the climate. With daily air service, Barbados offers easy access. Arrivals are received at immigration and customs with utmost professionalism and courtesy.

Harrison’s Cave

The trip starts with a short video of Barbados and its geology… it seemed as though we had descended into the bottom of the earth. There are over three miles of caves in this system. Wondering if we would ever hit sea level, in fact we were 160 foot down, and still many hundreds of feet above the sea. The water that passes through and comes out in springs in the island…

Animal Flower Cave

The "animal flowers" in these famed caves are actually sea anemones. The cave interior is carpeted with these sea creatures, which include yellow anemones as well as a few of the rarer, small purple variety. When in the cave, be sure to look out toward the sea the view of the surf breaking is spectacular.

Barbados boasts a top-20 ranking in the United Nations’ global quality-of-life index and one of the highest literacy rates in the world. Its services and amenities also rival those of any developed country — pure and abundant water, modern roads, reliable electricity (110 volts) and a superb telecommunications system. The island is served by a well-established financial system and a stable currency. Superb cuisine abounds, as does duty-free shopping. A healthy natural environment completes the picture, and medical services are excellent and accessible.

May 3 - 8, 2008, our 1st trip was fabulous. We felt wonderfully nurtured, relaxed.
